This is the captain's monologue at the grave of his former first mate. Three pieces of context are confirmed from this single inscription:
- Jaime Lopez was the captain's first mate, hired out of debt and elevated to second-in-command of the original expedition.
- Jaime betrayed "the Order" — the same Order whose surviving members appear later as enemies in the Cursed Swamps.

Where to Find the Grave
